BLACK SATURDAY BUSH FIRESDear parties that were involved in the devastating fires of Black Saturday.

Your generosity and support has culminated in Bendigo showcasing one of the best concerts ever to be staged in rural Australia.

The feedback from the artists involved in performing on the day was that Bendigo did it's self proud, as this event was one of the most well run and organised concerts that they have had the pleasure to perform at. Many commented that they would remember Bendigo fondly and appreciated that they were so well looked after and that they were only too pleased to have given their time to this good cause.

This event was always going to be a massive undertaking and without your support there wouldn't have been an event.

The organising committee had a debriefing meeting on the 7th April 2009 and one of the stories that makes it all worthwhile was that of a fire fighter who had a little girl come up to him and say "Thank You" for saving our house. This is what the day was meant to be all about, thanking the people who helped out and supported those less fortunate and trying to provide some positivity and fun into the lives of those touched by the devastating Black Saturday fires.

Bendigo Says Thanks Concert Committee.

ROYAL HOBART SHOWThe Royal Hobart Show takes place on a 17 hectare site, with lots of buildings and undulations which at times can make radio communication a bit of a challenge. Brett from New Breed Communication provided a seamless radio network that never faulted over the 4 day event.

The extra care provided certainly paid off for us.
